Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Cassville, MO is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a PRN role in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders, delivering one-on-one care to diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities include evaluations, developing treatment plans, providing articulation and cognitive-communication therapy, and educating patients and families. Missouri state licensure and CCC are preferred; CPR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state SLP license in Missouri.
• CCC from ASHA preferred.
• Prior speech therapy experience preferred (new grads welcome).
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and patient‑care skills.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive‑communication, and swallowing.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques.
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
• Stay current with best practices and advances in speech‑language pathology.
