INNOVATE REHAB AND WELLNESS in Arcadia, LA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a PRN position in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The role offers flexible, as-needed shifts and balanced scheduling to support work‑life harmony.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders with patient‑centered care. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology and a valid state license; ASHA CCC‑SLP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state SLP license.
• CCC‑SLP from ASHA preferred.
• Prior speech therapy experience preferred (new grads welcome).
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.
• Address speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive‑communication needs.
• Help patients improve function and overall quality of life.
• Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive‑communication, and swallowing.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques.
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
• Stay current with best practices and advances in speech‑language pathology.
