Job summary

A healthcare provider is seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide treatment at Assisted Living and Independent Living Facilities. This role offers consistent PRN hours with flexibility in scheduling. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with speech and language deficits, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. A Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology and state license are required, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Current license/certification in the state of practice.
• Prefer minimum one year experience in geriatric rehabilitation.
• Education requirements for clinical certification in speech-language pathology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, hearing, and cognitive deficits.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress regularly and revise treatment plans as needed.
