Job summary

Rehab in Motion is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist in Sarasota, FL. The role focuses on one-on-one patient care with strong clinical autonomy and flexible scheduling. Candidates must hold a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology, valid state license, and CCC from ASHA.

We offer competitive pay ($45–$55 per hour) and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team environment. Prior geriatric or home health exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Current CPR certification and TB testing as required.
• Two-step TB skin test and insurance proof may be required.
• At least one year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred.
• Familiarity with geriatric, independent living, and home health settings.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings.
• Discharge evaluations and provide safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate needs and progress to the treatment team, patients, families and physicians.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.
