Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a PRN role in Ayer, MA. You will evaluate speech, language, cognition, and swallowing while collaborating with an experienced rehabilitation team.

Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress, educating residents and families on strategies, and completing accurate clinical documentation in a supportive, interdisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Massachusetts SLP license required.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• New graduate SLPs are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and clinical findings.
• Provide skilled therapy addressing communication, cognition, and dysphagia.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment approaches when appropriate.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on supportive strategies.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
