Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants in Sharon, MA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a PRN role. You will evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function and develop individualized treatment plans to address residents' goals.

Responsibilities include providing skilled therapy, monitoring progress, educating residents and families, completing timely documentation, and collaborating with nursing and rehabilitation staff in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• New graduate Speech-Language Pathologists are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and resident goals.
• Provide skilled therapy addressing communication, cognition, and dysphagia.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment approaches when appropriate.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on supportive strategies.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Coordinate with nursing, rehabilitation staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
