Job summary

Autumn Lake at Birch Manor in Sykesville, MD is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to join our rehabilitation team. This flexible opportunity is ideal for an SLP looking to provide individualized care while working within a collaborative skilled nursing and post-acute environment.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland SLP license required.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop treatment plans based on resident needs and functional goals
• Provide skilled interventions for communication, cognition, and dysphagia
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment approaches as appropriate
• Collaborate with nursing and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
