Job summary

New Salem Surgery Center in Murfreesboro is seeking a dynamic PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our multispecialty team. This role offers flexibility with no weekends, holidays, or on‑call commitments, allowing you to contribute to high‑quality patient care on a schedule that fits your life.

As part of the perioperative team, you will perform preoperative assessments, monitor patients in PACU, assist with anesthesia recovery, administer medications, and provide postoperative education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by center.
• 2 years of PACU/CCU experience preferred.
• Ability to make decisions using nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preoperative assessments and prepare patients for procedures.
• Monitor patients in PACU during recovery.
• Collaborate with the surgical team for safe patient care.
• Administer medications, manage pain, provide education.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
