Job summary

Greenspring Village at Erickson Senior Living seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Flex/PRN shifts in Springfield, VA. The RN will promote residents’ health by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and care staff, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, CPR certification, and at least 6 months of RN experience. Great benefits, shift differential, and a supportive workplace are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience as an RN.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and web apps.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience caring for seniors or cognitive impairment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, addressing physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Perform clinical duties per nurse practice act and standards of care.
• Promote resident independence by teaching care goals and self-care skills.
• Monitor changes in residents' condition and respond to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to provide routine nursing care.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per orders.
• Develop and coordinate a holistic plan of care with the team.
• Document care plans and updates in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by the Clinical Manager.
