Job summary

Roshal Health in Miami seeks a Respiratory Therapist to assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory conditions. The RT will perform spirometry, educate patients, and administer therapies such as albuterol, coordinating with physicians and nurses to optimize care.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and multidisciplinary collaboration, with a PRN, W2 hourly arrangement that lets you set your own schedule.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• NBRC certification and/or CPFT preferred.
• AARC Spirometry Certificate is also accepted.
• Must be available on occasional weekdays – no weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform spirometry and pulmonary function tests to assess lung function.
• Educate patients on test preparation and use of respiratory equipment.
• Administer respiratory therapies including albuterol when needed.
• Conduct pre- and post-PFTs and monitor results for accuracy.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies as directed by the team.
• Collaborate with pulmonologists and healthcare team members.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to safety protocols.
