Job summary

Roshal Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for Oregon with PRN, hourly W2 employment. The RT will assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory conditions, perform spirometry, and collaborate with the care team in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities include pulmonary function testing, patient education, administering respiratory treatments, and ensuring safety and quality of care. Licensure as RT/RRT is required; NBRC/CPFT preferred. Local travel opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Respiratory Therapist or RRT required.
• NBRC and/or CPFT certification preferred.
• AARC Spirometry Certificate accepted.
• Spirometry testing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Pulmonary Function Screenings using spirometry to assess lung function.
• Provide patient education on pulmonary function tests and respiratory devices.
• Administer inhaled medications such as albuterol as part of therapy.
• Perform pre- and post-pulmonary function testing and diagnostic evaluations.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies as needed.
• Collaborate with pulmonologists and healthcare team for optimal care.
