Qualifications

• Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where work is performed.
• Some nursing experience, preferably in long‑term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and best practices in long‑term care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements governing nursing practices and skilled nursing facilities.
• Ability to build rapport with patients through a compassionate and caring demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents’ health status and vital signs.
• Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and team members to establish goals of care.
• Reassess resident needs and adjust care plans to changing conditions.
• Provide skilled nursing interventions and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Administer medications, perform wound care, monitor vitals and manage medical equipment.
• Coordinate with therapy, dietary, and social services for integrated care.
• Educate residents and families on health, treatment options, and self‑care.
