Job summary

Autumn Lake at Union in Union, NJ is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team. The role involves delivering skilled PTAs under the direction of a licensed PT and supporting residents with mobility, balance, and daily activities.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey PTA license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with strength, balance, gait, transfers, mobility, and endurance
• Carry out individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT
• Reinforce exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and other members of the care team
