Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation Services seeks a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Houston, TX to assist licensed therapists in delivering quality rehab services. The PTA will work under supervision, records treatments, and support patient progress documentation.

Responsibilities include documenting sessions, coordinating with the therapy team, and aiding in care conferences while ensuring compliance with state PT practice rules.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Must have good communication skills to relate professionally to patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Records treatments given in medical records.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress and plans.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state Physical Therapy rules.
