Job summary

Concept Rehab & Engage Consulting in Charlevoix, MI is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled, patient-centered care in a post-acute rehabilitation setting under the supervision of a licensed PT.

This therapist-owned team offers flexible PRN scheduling, competitive compensation, supportive leadership, and opportunities for continuing education and professional growth in a lakeside Michigan community.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
Current Michigan PTA license in good standing.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in skilled nursing/post-acute is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled treatment according to individualized care plans.
Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, transfers, and functional independence.
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
Monitor patient response and progress.
Communicate effectively with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team.
Complete accurate and timely documentation.
Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
