Job summary

River Bend Nursing and Rehab in Evansville, IN is seeking a compassionate PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team. You will assist with implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and help residents improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence through hands-on therapy.

Qualifications

Active Indiana PTA license
Graduate of an accredited PTA program
Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

Assist with implementing PT treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
Provide hands-on interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence
Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist and care team
Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques
Maintain documentation and follow clinical, facility, and regulatory standards
Collaborate with rehabilitation and interdisciplinary teams
