Qualifications

• Current, active California PTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Successful NPTE for PTA.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain per facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Implement resident treatment plans under the supervising PT.
• Deliver skilled interventions targeting strength, mobility, balance, and function.
• Monitor, document, and report resident responses to the supervising PT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety strategies.
• Complete accurate, timely documentation in compliance with applicable requirements.
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA standards, and participate in care conferences.
