Southland Care Center in Norwalk, CA is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to support our in-house therapy team within a post-acute setting that includes long-term and geriatric outpatient services. Qualifications

• PTA license required.

Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and device use under supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising PT to adjust treatments per regulatory and clinical standards.
• Offer counseling to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.
