Job summary
Concept Rehab, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN role in Alma, MI within a Skilled Nursing Facility.
You will deliver hands-on therapy under a licensed PT, helping patients with mobility, transfers, balance, and functional activities. You’ll follow individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, document findings accurately, and communicate with the supervising PT and care team.
Qualifications
- Licensed in Michigan as PTA in good standing.
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Dependable and professional.
- Able to work independently and as part of a therapy team.
Responsibilities
- Provide treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, strengthening, balance, and functional activities.
- Follow individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor patient response and progress.
- Communicate with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary care team.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Provide encouraging, respectful, patient-focused care.
