Job summary

Autumn Lake at Spa Creek in Annapolis, MD is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will provide hands-on resident care to improve mobility and functional independence under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The role offers flexible PRN scheduling, a competitive $40-$42/hour rate, and opportunities to pick up hours based on department needs within a supportive rehabilitation department.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland PTA license required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with strength, balance, gait, transfers, endurance, and mobility.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans based on resident goals.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and safe mobility techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and the interdisciplinary care team.
