Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Georgia (GA) required or eligible.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• CPR certification encouraged but not mandatory.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop customized treatment plans per physician orders.
• Deliver physical therapy services aligned with clinical standards.
• Document patient progress accurately in medical records.
• Supervise and guide PTAs and support staff.
• Educate residents and caregivers on continued care strategies.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
