Adoration Health is expanding in Tarboro, NC, and seeks a Physical Therapist for a PRN position at Barlcay House at Tarboro. The role focuses on 1:1 patient care, flexibility and autonomy in geriatric/outpatient settings with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
• Current Live CPR Certification.
• Two-step TB skin test required.
• Proof of Auto Insurance.
• Demonstrates knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics and/or home health.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment; attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide safety recommendations and education resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, and family.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants as needed.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
