Job summary

Adoration Health seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our PRN team at Barclay House in Tarboro, NC. You will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide 1:1 patient care with flexibility to create your own schedule.

The role emphasizes clinical autonomy, collaboration with the treatment team, and independence in delivering evidence-based therapy in geriatric and home health settings. Licensure and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification (Live).
• Two-step TB skin test required.
• Proof of auto insurance.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapy interventions.
• Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics or home health.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; may lift up to 100 pounds with safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing/family meetings.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide safety recommendations.
• Communicate needs and progress to the team, physician, patient and family.
• Supervision of OT Assistants as needed.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to improve patient outcomes.
