Job summary

BrightStar Care Granbury, TX is seeking a PRN Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide one-on-one home health services to children in the Granbury area. You will develop individualized treatment plans to support developmental progress, functional independence, and participation in daily activities, working closely with families and the clinical team.

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted OT license in Texas.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel to patients’ homes in the service area.

Responsibilities

Evaluate children’s developmental, functional, sensory, motor, and self-care abilities.
Identify areas of need affecting participation in daily activities.
Develop individualized OT treatment plans based on developmental needs and goals.
Provide interventions for fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and visual-motor skills.
Help children develop age-appropriate skills in dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, play, and school activities.
Incorporate play-based and developmentally appropriate therapies into sessions.
Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications when appropriate.
Educate parents on exercises, activities, positioning, and sensory strategies.
Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
Collaborate with families and care team; document visits per regulations.
