Job summary

MedQuest Imaging, a trusted partner of Novant Health, is seeking a PRN Floating front desk position at the Novant Health Imaging Maplewood location in Winston-Salem, NC. The role supports PTO coverage with flexible scheduling and training during the week.

You will greet patients, check in, schedule, collect balances, and provide courteous service to patients and families in a fast-paced imaging center environment. Previous medical office experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2+ years of experience in customer support or hospitality.
• Strong customer service background and focus.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge and ability to perform accurately and efficiently on computer.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in a physician practice or other medical services office is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Prior patient collections experience in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact with patients, referring physicians, and the general public on behalf of the imaging center.
• Welcoming patients and visitors, ensuring comfort, and attending to patient needs.
• Check patients in, answer the telephone, route calls, schedule appointments, and collect balances at time of service.
• Perform front office/desk duties as necessary.
