Job summary

Paramount is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to support our skilled nursing facility patients. Under the supervision of a licensed OT, you will help implement individualized treatment plans to improve daily living activities and rehabilitation goals.

This flexible, as-needed role in the Rehab department offers opportunities to contribute to patient progress, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and maintain licensure through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in OTA program from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans and assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional tasks.
• Document patient progress and changes in condition; educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with the OT and healthcare team to coordinate care and attend meetings.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols; maintain licensure and professional development.
• Assist with scheduling and equipment management and participate in quality initiatives.
