Berthoud Care in Berthoud, CO is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team. The role includes screening and evaluating patients with cognitive and ADL challenges and delivering rehabilitative treatment in line with regulatory standards.

Flexible schedule with good work-life balance. Pay ranges from $45 to $53 per hour based on experience; licensed OT required; open to all experience levels.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid OT license in the state of practice.
• Experience level: open to all levels of experience.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive or ADL impairments and develop plans of care.
• Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practices.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary therapies.
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatments in the clinical record.
• Evaluate outcomes and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Offer counseling to patients and families about physical disorders.
• Communicate progress and barriers with the health team.
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries of services.
