Job summary

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, KS, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures with camera acquisition and data processing. You will collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and accurate documentation.

The role requires knowledge of physics and radiology software, BLS certification, and CNMT/RT(N) eligibility. Must be able to work PRN shifts in a Day schedule and communicate effectively with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Required knowledge of physiology and nuclear medicine techniques.
• Certification: BLS and RT(N) or CNMT as applicable.
• Able to read, write and speak English; good communication skills.
• Experience with radiation safety and quality control practices.
• Ability to learn radiology software packages.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures with camera acquisition and processing.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure appropriate imaging and patient care.
• Maintain room readiness, stocked supplies, and equipment.
• Document quality control data and exam charges in systems.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain correct patient information.
