Job summary

AllianceHealth Durant is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist I (PRN) to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures under physician supervision. Responsibilities include radiopharmaceutical preparation, imaging with gamma cameras and PET scanners, radiation safety, and accurate documentation in the EMR.

You will collaborate with radiologists and cardiologists to deliver high-quality patient care on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and radiopharmaceutical preparation.
• Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to recognize abnormal results and ensure imaging accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures and therapies per physician orders.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety and policy guidelines.
• Assess patient condition and verify identification before procedures.
• Operate and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure quality images.
• Document procedures and interactions accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to update protocols.
