Job summary

National Lutheran Communities & Services is seeking a PRN Day Shift Environmental Services Aide to maintain clean, welcoming spaces for residents, guests, and team members at our Winchester, VA campus. This role goes beyond housekeeping, supporting a safe, comfortable home-like environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident apartments and common areas, restocking supplies, and following infection prevention and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must read and speak English.
• Experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude, dependable, punctual and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident apartments, common areas, offices, and community spaces
• Ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors
• Perform housekeeping and environmental services duties with attention to detail
• Restock supplies and report maintenance concerns as necessary
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Contribute to a positive resident experience through exceptional service
