UAB Medicine is seeking a certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist across diverse surgical procedures and specialized cardiac cases. The role includes clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students and collaboration with the anesthesia team.

Required credentials include graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, APN CRNA certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing, and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program is required.
• Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
• Currently certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with CRNA specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing is required.
• ACLS certification is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• PALS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
