Job summary

Avir Trilogy at Avir at Montana in El Paso, TX is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team. You will provide skilled services under an OT supervisor, helping residents improve independence and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Active Texas COTA license in good standing with licensing boards.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Familiarity with Net Health software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and functional tasks.
• Implement treatment plans and monitor progress and response to therapy.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and techniques.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation and communicate progress to the OT.
• Collaborate with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team.
