Job summary

Avir Trilogy at Avir at Lomaland in El Paso, Texas is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. The role offers flexible scheduling and competitive PRN compensation.

Under the supervision of a licensed OT, you will deliver skilled therapy to residents to improve independence and daily living skills, with a focus on compassionate, resident-centered care. If you're looking for extra hours or supplemental income, this opportunity lets you pick shifts

Qualifications

• Active Texas COTA license in good standing.
• License in good standing with licensing boards/regulatory agencies.
• Geriatric or long-term care experience preferred.
• Net Health experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized therapeutic interventions.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living and functional activities.
• Implementing treatment plans under the direction of the supervising OT.
• Monitoring and reporting resident progress and response to treatment.
• Educating residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and techniques.
• Completing timely and accurate documentation.
• Communicating resident progress and concerns to the supervising OT.
• Collaborating with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
