Job summary

Sobe Innovative Rehab is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver skilled therapy in patients’ homes in Lighthouse Point, Florida. This PRN role focuses on geriatric care, promoting independence and safety while collaborating with a dedicated care team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Active Florida COTA license.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate approach to working with geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the established plan of care.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence and safety.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Recommend and/or provide appropriate treatment equipment and adaptive devices as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to support independence and safety at home.
