Sobe Innovative Rehab is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide outpatient occupational therapy services in an assisted living community in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This PRN role emphasizes geriatric care and maintaining independence for older adults.

You will collaborate with physicians and the care team, document diligently, and select assignments that fit your schedule. Florida COTA license required; OTA degree; 2 years preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Florida COTA license.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred (not required).
• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the plan of care.
• Implement interventions to improve functional independence.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Provide necessary treatment equipment or devices.
