Job summary

QuadMed is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our PRN team. This role provides flexible scheduling to support laboratory operations during peak workloads and staff coverage.

Regular hours are Mon, Wed, Fri 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Tue/Thu 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, with PRN shifts as needed. The CLS participates in delivering diagnostic information, ensures quality control, performs phlebotomy, maintains equipment, adheres to safety and HIPAA, and collaborates with clinicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited program.
• Two years of clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Current board certification (ASCP or equivalent) required.
• CPR/BLS certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient and QC testing and maintains equipment.
• Manages inventories and ensures proper use of supplies and reagents.
• Performs advanced equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Follows safety practices including HIPAA, biohazards, and chemical hygiene standards.
• Promotes teamwork and effective cross-department collaboration.
