Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Two years in a clinical laboratory environment preferred.
• Current board certification (ASCP or another recognized certifying board).
• Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient and Quality Control testing.
• Maintains proper inventories and uses supplies correctly.
• Performs advanced equipment troubleshooting.
• Participates in quality, safety, and compliance programs.
• Demonstrates respect and regard for all patients.
• Maintains strict confidentiality of Personal Health Information.
• May perform direct observations and competency on other employees.
