Job summary

QuadMed is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technician to join our PRN team with a flexible schedule to support peak workload periods.

The role requires an associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, ASCP or equivalent certification, and CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. Phlebotomy experience and LIS/MS Office familiarity are preferred as you help maintain quality and compliance across patient testing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited college.
• One year of clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• ASCP or equivalent board certification required.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification or within 60 days of hire.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient and QC testing and maintains competencies.
• Maintains inventories and correctly uses supplies and reagents.
• Performs advanced equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Follows safety practices and HIPAA regulations.
• Performs phlebotomy for patients of all ages as needed.
• Participates in quality, safety, and compliance programs.
• Communicates specimen status to appropriate personnel.
• Attends in-service and continuing education as required.
