QuadMed is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Assistant to join our PRN team. The role provides essential support to lab operations during peak workloads with a flexible schedule, typically Monday–Friday 7am–6pm and Saturdays 8am–12pm, with shifts scheduled by departmental needs.

The CLA performs phlebotomy, prepares and tests samples, and supports the lab team to deliver high-quality patient results. CPR/BLS and phlebotomy certification preferred, with travel to other labs possible.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Performs blood collection using standard lab guidelines to obtain acceptable specimens.
• Follows SOPs to perform basic diagnostic procedures and produce accurate results.
• Operates basic lab equipment under supervision and directs after training.
• Restocks supplies and maintains clean, organized work area.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
