Job summary

Copper Queen Community Hospital is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our laboratory team in Bisbee, AZ. You will collect, process, and distribute specimens across all ages, and perform limited waived testing with quality control procedures.

You will ensure supplies are stocked, maintain accurate records, and assist with clinic duties as needed, under the direction of the Laboratory Manager.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification required.
• 1 year phlebotomy experience required; certification preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work in the CQCH Lab when needed.
• Assist with clinic duties as directed.

About the Role

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager, will perform the following tasks: collect, process, and appropriately distribute laboratory specimens obtained from all age groups. Perform limited waived testing of specimens, quality control and proficiency material. Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies for specimen collection

Qualification

• CPR/BLS Certification through American Heart Association
• 1 Year Phlebotomy experience required. Certification preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills when working with patients, medical staff, and fellow employees.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work in the CQCH Lab when needed.
• Assist with clinic duties as directed
