Job summary

The Resource Connection of Amador & Calaveras Counties, Inc. is seeking a Substitute Cook for Preschool Locations in Murphys. This onsite role offers flexible hours and the chance to support nutritious meals for young children, with shifts around 5 hours in the morning.

A high school diploma, at least one year of food service experience, knowledge of food safety, health screenings, and a valid California driver’s license are required. We provide training and benefits such as EAP and sick leave.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of health screening requirements and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy meals (breakfast, lunch, snacks) per preset menus.
• Support childcare nutrition across preschool locations in Murphys.
• Follow procedures and paperwork for the Childcare Food Program.
