Petco in the United States is hiring a Sales Associate to help customers find products for their pets and create a welcoming, safe, and engaging store environment.

You will greet customers, share product knowledge, process sales and returns, stock shelves, and support inventory and merchandising while following Petco policies. This role offers a fast-paced, purpose-driven retail experience with opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to the pet-human bond.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Passion for animals and interest in pet care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver courteous, knowledgeable service and greet customers.
• Help customers find products and solutions for their pets.
• Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
• Stock shelves and replenish merchandise while keeping the floor organized.
