Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Caregiver/Personal Care Aide in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to support seniors at home. The role includes help with bathing, dressing, meals, transportation and companionship, with 1:1 client ratios and flexible scheduling.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma, CPR, and a valid WI driver’s license. Prior healthcare experience is preferred and training/CEUs are available. This position emphasizes compassionate, dependable care and safe home support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Six months of experience in a healthcare role preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid WI driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document condition and notify supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
