Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a part-time Caregiver to support seniors in Janesville, WI, helping with daily living activities and companionship to enable living safely at home. The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and clear communication, with opportunities for training and growth.

You will work in clients\' homes, perform activities like bathing, dressing, meal prep, light housekeeping and transportation, and maintain documentation of care provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold CNA license or HHA certificate.
• Minimum 6 months of healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid drivers license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, good communicator, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to live safely at home.
• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, light housekeeping, shopping, transportation, companionship.
• Assist with mobility and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and report concerns to a supervisor.
• Create a safe home environment with clear pathways.
• Engage clients in activities for enjoyment such as puzzles and reading.
