Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) in Worcester, MA is seeking Per Diem Residential Support Specialists to join our ACCS team, providing flexible, as-needed direct care across residential programs. You will assist with activities of daily living, encourage independence, monitor health and medications, and document progress in timely shift summaries and notes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Human services experience preferred but not required; BHN provides training.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required for all working hours.
• Committed to consumer empowerment, growth, human rights, and community integration.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with internet, word processing, and email systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Available to work flexible, as-needed per diem shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist and monitor activities of daily living, encouraging independence and decision-making.
• Support quality of life through empowerment, safety, respect, and dignity.
• Monitor health and medication administration as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as required.
• Help individuals maintain social support networks and community engagement.
• Plan and provide opportunities for community activities.
• Complete shift summaries and required documentation in a timely manner.
• Provide safe transportation using personal vehicle for appointments and activities.
