Job summary

Remedy Home Health Care is actively hiring a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team in Orange County. The PTA will deliver one-on-one therapy in patients' homes, focusing on rehabilitation, fall prevention, and functional mobility under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Active California PTA license
• Current CPR certification (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (home health preferred)
• Strong interest in home health, rehab, and senior care
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home physical therapy services following the Plan of Care
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation programs
• Support senior care patients in improving strength, balance, and independence
• Monitor, document, and report patient progress to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and fall prevention
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and the care team
