Job summary

McKinley Park Care Center in Sacramento, CA is seeking a compassionate Per-Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will deliver treatments to help residents regain mobility, strength, and independence.

This role offers flexible per-diem hours and competitive pay of $48-$52 per hour, with a resident-centered culture in a skilled nursing and post-acute care environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed California PTA required.
• Graduate of accredited PTA program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments and therapeutic exercises under therapist supervision.
• Assist residents with mobility, gait, balance and functional activities.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising PT.
• Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and fall prevention.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and timely.
