Amedisys Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered OT services in home health settings on a per diem flex schedule, with Monday–Friday availability. Orientation pay ranges from $50.00 to $62.00 per hour before converting to a per point pay method, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualified candidates will hold current OT licensure for the assigned state, ACOTE accreditation, NBCOT eligibility, and CPR certification; at least 1 year of OT experience

Formación

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of assignment.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program (AOTA).
• Eligible to take or has completed NBCOT certification.
• One year of related occupational therapy experience preferred; regional clinical leaders’ approval and mentorship may be required for less than one year.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide occupational therapy services per physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure the plan addresses all problems identified in the assessment or document rationale if not addressed.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Other duties as assigned.

Attractive pay

$50.00 to $62.00 per hour for Orientation and will then convert to a per point pay method.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of occupational therapy service delivery provided under a physician approved plan of care.
• Ensures the plan of care addresses all problems identified in the assessment or documents rationale if identified problems are not addressed in the plan of care.
• Accountable for the safety and effectiveness of the occupational therapy service delivery process.
• Completes documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervises home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy specific to the state you are assigned to work.
• Graduate of an occupational therapy program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc. (AOTA), or successor organizations of ACOTE
• Eligible to take, or has successfully completed, the entry-level certification examination for occupational therapists developed and administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT).
• One year related occupational therapy experience to ensure knowledge and skills are sufficient to safely provide occupational therapy services to patients.
• If less than one (1) year experience, then approval from regional clinical leaders required as well as appropriate mentoring and/or residency program established.
• Current CPR certification.
