Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Eligible candidates earn $37-$39 per hour with Same-Day or Next-Day Pay options.

Required are an active LPN license, a minimum of 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR. Per diem roles offer flexibility with local commuting across the Hampton Roads area. FCN is an Equal Opportunity Employer and supports local applicants only.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• PPD within the last year per facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
