Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team in the Hampton Roads area. Earn $37–$39 per hour with Same-Day or Next-Day Pay options and RapidPay Card.

Required: active LPN license, 1+ year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR. PPD within the last year, and ability to meet the physical requirements. Local applicants only. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties as needed.
